Core Beliefs

Discipleship

The Bible is clear on discipleship. Each follower of Christ is called to both be a disciple and to go and make disciples. You can see this call throughout Scripture.

Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

The model, at Church on the Hill, for discipleship can be seen in the word MENTOR.
